o0o New creations

I'm getting more and more creative as the days unfolds. So inspired and even more thankful and amazed for being able to create such wonderous  creations with my bare hands. Making this world a bit more beautiful. I've also pointed out a goal for what I want to to and where this all gonna take me, and it seems as soon as I did that, the whole universe conspires to make it happen. That when you know you're on the right track. Im not ready to share it just yet, but soon you will notice.

First out is a circus psychedelicious crochet vest with applications and stiching in te pixie pointy back.
Closes with ornamented wood button.

And then a mossgreen wool vest with a crochet doily in the pixie pointy back. Closes with ornamented silver hooks.

Current status of Ilahinoor creations

Where have I been? Well to tell you the truth my dear dear readers I'm currently battling with breast cancer. So I've been fully focused on getting better and to heal myself with delicious raw and super food. And recently I made a small operation and so far so good but will see in the near future what will be. I'm really living day by day now. Don't know what tomorrow will bring. I haven't been creating at all but that doesn't mean I have'nt been creative. I get these periods sometimes when I just gather inspiration and then a month later I let it all come out in new Ilahinoor creations. And with this lifechanging experience in my luggage I'm sure the outcome will be spectacular. Take care beautiful ones!

o0o Inspiration

Spring and everything

Sorry for not updating on how my colouringexperiment went if anyone was waiting patiently for that. I can tell you it was so much fun! So I'll definetly do this again. Only tiny problem was the smell so I'd like to try doing it outside next time. This is how it went.

These are the lichens that I used for colouring the yarn. I picked them off of treebranches that was laying around in the forest where I live.
And this is how it turned out. The darkgrey got a hint of mossgreen in it and the lighter yarn became pale golden mustard
This is one of the new projects that I've made using the Lichen-coloured yarns. Wonder what it will be ..

o0o Colours of nature

Spring has finally arrived in Sweden and much of my time goes into taking care of the garden and especially the kitchen garden. I just love to grow organic and then being able to eat all these goodies all summer and hopefully all year around. Pesticide and GMO free JEI!

I've also started reading about colouring with plants and such and today I've started an experiment with lichens that I've picked from the ground in the forests nearby.
They are currently boiling at the stove and will do so for 2-3 hours. Then I'm suppose to put the washed wool yarn in and boil for another hour or more until the colour I want is there. And then I'll probably leave it there over night for extra durable and intense colour.

I'm so exited and curious. Result will be shown tomorrow. Hopefully from now on I'll be working with my own plant died yarn. JEI!

Wish you all a great evening!

o0o Raghupati Rustic Hipbag

I call this bag Raghupati because I found myself chanting raghupati ragava raja ram while making it. I love creating out of that meditative state. I believe I create the most beautiful things out of that bliss.
